Welcome to Almada Bakery’s online shop. By placing an order, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before purchasing.

2. Prices & VAT

All prices are displayed in GBP (£) and include VAT where applicable. Any optional extras (e.g., gift wrapping) will be displayed and selectable before you complete your purchase.

3. Payment

Payments are processed online via Stripe. Your card is charged at the time of purchase. Card data is handled securely via Stripe, and Almada Bakery does not store full card details. Payments comply with PCI DSS standards.

4. Click & Collect / Collection Policy

Orders are for collection only. Collection options and times are shown on the product page and at checkout.
Christmas 2025 collection:

  • Lloyd Park Market: Saturday, 20 December, 10am–4pm
  • Victoria Park Market: Sunday, 21 December, 10am–4 pm
  • Kensal Rise shop: until 24 December, 8am–12pm

Please bring your order confirmation (email or SMS) and a form of ID if requested. Orders not collected within 24 hours of the selected slot may be cancelled and refunded minus any reasonable costs for preparation of perishable goods.

5. Cancellation & Returns

Most online purchases include a 14-day cancellation right under UK law.
However: this does not apply to perishable goods or items made to your specification, including freshly baked cakes, pastries, and festive items. These items are final sale.
If an item is faulty, not as described, or you receive the wrong product, you may request a refund, replacement, or repair under statutory rights.

6. Refunds

Refunds for valid faulty goods will be processed within 14 days of confirmation.
For non-faulty orders where cancellation is allowed, refunds may be subject to reasonable deductions for perishable items and preparation costs.

7. Allergens & Ingredients

Full ingredients and allergen information are displayed on each product page. Customers with food allergies or intolerances should contact us before ordering. We cannot guarantee that products are completely free from traces of allergens due to shared production areas.

8. Storage & Liability

We hold orders for collection for 24 hours after the selected collection time. After collection, the goods are the customer’s responsibility.

9. Data Protection

We process personal data to fulfil your order and communicate with you about it. For more information, see our Privacy Notice and Cookie Policy.
By ordering, you consent to our use of your personal information to process orders, communicate order updates, and, if opted-in, for marketing communications.

10. Fees & Transparency

All mandatory charges are included in the prices displayed. No hidden fees are added after you confirm payment.

11. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Consumers may contact us at info@almadabakery.co.uk for complaints. UK consumers may also use the European Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform or UK Alternative Dispute Resolution services.

12. Amendments

Almada Bakery may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The “Last updated” date will indicate the current version. Changes do not affect orders already placed.
